A typical uninsulated home can lose around 35% of its heat through the walls.
By installing Knauf Supafil Cavity wall insulation into the walls of your home, you will save up to 30% on your heating bills, improve your home comfort, add value to your property and can payback your investment in around 2 years.
Simply speaking, Cavity Wall Insulation prevents heat loss in winter, heat gain in summer and reduces your energy consumption for heating, leading to lower bills, lower wear and tear on your boiler and reduced Global Warming and Climate Change.

Up to 25% of the heat in your home can escape through the roof of your property.
The current recommended depth of insulation is 270mm. By simply insulating your loft to at least this depth you can quickly save wasted energy and money.
Our installers will lay mineral wool insulation manufactured by Knauf Insulation in your loft to the required industry standards, including the loft hatch and will also ensure that the pipes and tanks are correctly lagged to avoid freezing.

Most homes leak heat through gaps in the joins where their windows and doors are. In fact you can often feel this as a draft by holding your hand up against them on cold, wet windy nights! This can have a profound effect on your energy costs with a typical home around 20% of all heat loss is through ventilation and draughts.
Draught proofing is one of the most inexpensive and effective energy efficiency measures for any home - yet it is too often overlooked. Only a quarter of the 23 million dwellings in the UK are adequately draught proofed. Yet draught proofing offers the quickest return, frequently paying for itself within a year and then saving year in, year out.

Where a property does not already have adequate loft or cavity wall insulation, a Home Insulation Grant may be available to improve the energy efficiency of the property and thus to reduce the fuel poverty of the occupants. The scheme is government funded and provides energy advice and grants to cover the costs of home insulation and to improve energy efficiency for certain groups of people including those on low incomes. The scheme covers both owner-occupiers and people renting accommodation. In some cases, the maximum grant available does not cover the full cost of the work and you have to pay something towards the costs. However, in England a hardship fund has been set up to help meet the extra payments that might be needed.
